Warehouse Lead

Job Title: Warehouse Lead - $1000 sign on bonus!*

Reports To: Hibbing Branch Manager

Location: Hibbing, MN

The Warehouse Lead is knowledgeable in all aspects of the warehouse operations and is the subject matter expert on all responsibilities in the warehouse. This role will cultivate the relationships and have a hand in maintaining a positive culture. This role carries out the training and mentoring of any employees working at the Hibbing warehouse.

Warehouse Lead Essential Functions:

• Takes elevated situations with a cool, calm demeanor

• Provides training and mentoring to the team

• Ability to respond to emails thoroughly and accurately.

• Responsible for managing and supporting all warehouse functions

• Sets example for others

• Adept at computer programs such as Microsoft Office Suite and CORE (furniture tracking software)

• Manages cycle counts and inventory control processes in DAX (ERP System)

• Clearly communicates with other teams, departments, leadership and customers

• Advanced problem-solver, uses resources to get things done

• Identify savings opportunities including shipping costs, storage efficiencies and vendor/customer improvements

• Proactively manages own workload

• Provides training and support to level one and two coordinators

• Owns the team email box - Research shipment related questions/track orders

• Able to receive product into system inventory

• Able to complete inventory transfers and journal entries

• Work with sales reps and internal teams (email)

• Answer complex order questions

• Responsible for supporting all aspects of warehouse functions

• Order picking accuracy – 98% minimum for at least 90 days (team standards)

• Shipping accuracy of 99% minimum for at least 90 days (team standards)

• Keeps clean and orderly workspace

• Monitors and schedules regular and as-needed service for company vehicles
