Job Description
Summary: Each server’s primary objective is to provide friendly, responsive and efficient service to all restaurant and hotel guests through effective time management, overall professionalism and poise. The restaurant server is responsible for providing a gracious level of service to guests to support guest satisfaction. The restaurant server is also responsible for contributing to an environment within the restaurant and bar which encourages fellow co-workers to be happy, motivated and proud of the products and services provided by the restaurant. The restaurant server is a crucial contributor to building a loyal following amongst guests, thus increasing business and furthering the restaurant’s reputation of providing a legendary experience.
Duties and Responsibilities
- To ensure that guests are greeted and served in a timely and pleasant manner.
- To take food and drink orders for all guests that comes into a restaurant and the pool deck.
- To prepare and stock the kitchen with all necessary items.
- To support the bartenders, host/hostess, and expo in any way to make the guest experience legendary.
- To be knowledgeable about all menus, the resort, and the harbor.
- Be able to communicate clearly, effectively and confidently with our guests and supporting staff.
- Must have exceptional grooming habits.
- Always follow Health and Safety practices.
- Other duties as assigned.
