Systems Engineering Intern

**This internship will begin in June 2024 and will be for a duration of 9 week.

**This position requires a minimum of 3 days in the office.

Job Summary:

The candidate will be working on assisting with the Systems Testing of our CGM system(s).

The candidate will also be working in a cross-functional role involving the Software, Hardware, and Operations teams to document the requirements and risk assessment of the CGM system.

Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Execute system test procedures for formal V&V reports.
• Design and conduct system tests for informal performance evaluation.
• Update design requirements within the requirements and traceability system.
• Update risk management file within the requirements and traceability system.
• Review labeling and conduct labeling verification testing.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Requirements:

• Supervisory responsibilities— None.
• Work environment— Indoor office environment.
• Physical demands—Engineering lab testing may require long periods of standing and use of sensitive instruments.
• Position type and expected hours of work— Hourly, 40 hours/week expected.
• Travel—Minimal or no travel expected.
• Required education and experience—Seeking Bachelors degree in Biomedical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Preferred education and experience—Bachelors degree in Biomedical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Additional eligibility qualifications— excellent analytical and technical writing skills. Ability to learn fast in a startup environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
