We are actively hiring a Junior Intelligence Analyst to join our team in support of a USG critical mission in the Northern Virginia area. Candidates must have previous customer experience and understand how to research, write and analyze using the sponsor’s proprietary tools and databases. This position requires the contractor assigned to identify leads from all-source information, draft time-sensitive reports, and give operational guidance as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Successful candidates will provide day-to-day mission support and in-depth, substantive subject-matter expertise geared towards customer requirements.
  • Successful candidates will research and analyze complex datasets, develop strategic overviews of targets, and generate leads to advance customer operations overseas.
  • Successful candidates will be asked to solve multifaceted tasks and identify creative solutions to problems or obstacles in an often changing and demanding environment.
  • Successful candidates will work closely with other customer offices and partners across the Intelligence Community to provide mission support.
  • Successful candidates will brief customer management, other government agencies, and liaison, on intelligence issues and current operations.
  • Successful candidates may be required to travel overseas for short- or mid-term TDYs in support of customer missions.

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
  • Bachelor’s degree (or 5 years of related experience in lieu of a degree) and at least 3 years of Customer or relevant IC experience
  • Strong experience with customer’s tools and report writing methods
  • Regional and functional expertise of various geographic regions of interest to the United States, including the Middle East
  • Strong grasp of the intelligence cycle and the customer’s operational tradecraft
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong inter- and intrapersonal skills, able to communicate details clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
