MEP Engineering Manager

T&M Associates is seeking a Group Manager to grow the Mechanical, Electrical, & Plumbing (MEP) Practice in our Midwest Region. This position will be based out of our Columbus, OH office, with support from multiple other disciplines and Practices locally, as well as our established MEP Practice in other regions. The group manager must have established business relationships with public and/or private clients. They will pursue opportunities by networking with clients and sourcing new development/acquisition opportunities. Additional responsibilities will include daily supervision of technical workload by mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering staff, including design and construction administration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in their technical field and working knowledge of the MEP / Facilities design industry.
• P.E. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field required.
• Experience with client management and/or business development efforts, strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD is required. Experience with Revit is preferred.
• Thorough knowledge and interpretation of industry standards and code compliance.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Background in technical proposal development.
• Self-motivated, focused, and dedicated to leading a team to deliver solutions for our clients.
