Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated CNA/NA (Certified Nursing Assistant/Nursing Assistant) to join our team at Always Best Care Senior Services in Oahu. In this role, you will provide essential personal and medical care to our senior clients in Kauai, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. This is a full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday position.

Compensation & Benefits:
The compensation for this position is $18 to $20 per hour, paid weekly. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and career development opportunities.

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care services to seniors in Kauai, following the care plan outlined by the Registered Nurse and in accordance with state regulations.
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record clients' vital signs and report any changes to the Registered Nurse.
- Administer medications as directed by the Registered Nurse.
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, meal preparation, and transportation for clients.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Follow all safety and infection control protocols.

Requirements:
- Active CNA/NA certification in the state of Hawaii.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working with seniors, preferably in a home care setting.
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and ability to perform simple medical tasks, such as taking vital signs.
- Ability to communicate effectively and follow directions.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Bilingual in English and other languages is a plus.
