Houston MRI® & Diagnostic Imaging is currently seeking experienced Paramedics to join our team at our Katy Center, located at 1336 Pin Oak Road Katy, TX 77494.

Houston MRI® & Diagnostic Imaging has been providing excellent diagnostic imaging exams since 1997. Job Summary:

The ideal candidate would be responsible for monitoring patients in the case of a contrast reaction, starting IV’s in CT and MRI department, screening and preparing patients for their procedures. Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills are a must.

Essential Job Functions:

Perform IV’s and set up the power injector in the CT department.

Perform contrast injections in the MRI department.

Assist CT and MRI Techs in taking patient histories, screening patients for their procedures, and positioning patients in the exam rooms as needed.

Monitor patients during the procedures.

Administer medications in case of a reaction to contrast.

Practice infectious control procedures and ensure overall safety practices at all times.

Track, and maintain contrast related medical supplies. Report approaching expiration dates, and the need to order supplies, etc.

Stock and maintain linens properly.

Perform other duties as assigned including administrative backup and support.

Certification as an EMT-Paramedic is required.

Shifts Available: Mon-Fri, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm

Full Time

Pay: $20.00-$27.00 Hourly

Required experience:

  • Paramedic: 1 year

Required license or certification:

  • TX Department of State Health Services (EMT-P)
  • CPR license
