We are currently seeking a Contracts Specialist (part-time) in the DMV area working in our Corporate Office located in Vienna, VA.

Functional Responsibilities:

  • The selected candidate will coordinate and perform contract management on federal contracts, subcontracts, and consultant agreements.
  • Handle assigned contracts from initial award and set-up through close-out Review contracts and contracts modifications.
  • Prepare and negotiate non-disclosure agreements, teaming agreements, and
  • Correspondence with and / or preparing correspondence for Contracting Officers
  • Using client's methods, provide suggestions to clients about how to manage contracts most effectively.
  • Turn assignments around within
  • Work efficiently and effectively with staff, including business partner (HIL).

Required Skills/Experience:

  • 10+ years Federal Contracts Management Experience in Industry (Contractor perspective - not on government site)
  • Must have thorough understanding of government FAR and DFAR regulations
  • Small Business GovCon Experience required
  • Demonstrated skills in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.);
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Detail-oriented
  • Willing to follow client's processes for consistency for all clients
  • Strong business acumen and good with numbers (i.e., ceiling, funding, etc.)
  • Must be able to quickly turnaround assignments. Responsiveness is key

Education: Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree required (concentration in business or contracts is preferable)
