Job Description
Job Summary: Senior Helpers - Fairfax is looking for a compassionate and reliable Caregiver to join our team in Sterling, Virginia. 20 hours a week Monday through Friday. MUST HAVE A VEHICHLE.
Compensation: This position offers a competitive salary of $19 per hour, paid on a biweekly basis.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Provide companionship
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions
- Assist with medication reminders and monitoring
- Help with light housekeeping and laundry
- Accompany clients to appointments and outings as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of caregiving experience, preferably with seniors
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
