Titan Electric Inc. (FB Titan) Is currently looking for multiple Environmental Field Technician (Summer internship) to join our team! This position will support our operations team on the Gateway West Transmission Line project, in Casper, WY.


This position could be a perfect fit for a CURRENTLY ENROLLED or NEW GRADUATE- where we will introduce the successful candidates to the world of an Field Environmental Technician & train from the ground up!


The Environmental Field Technician (Summer Internship) will work onsite the Gateway West Transmission Line project, 10 hours per day, 6 days per week, and will work closely with senior Environmental Specialists to ensure project operational activities are in alignment with project construction, environmental management plans, federal and state regulations, and all other relevant commitments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lives Forbes Bros. value of WE WORK SAFE & never compromising on safety in all aspects of our every day
  • Monitoring/inspecting project sites, to verify that work is completed in compliance with all relevant client requirements as well as provincial and/or federal regulations
  • Proactive reporting of any potential environmental issues to the project team and recommending the implementation of appropriate corrective actions
  • Assist with the completion of wildlife sweeps/surveys, weed surveys, post-construction and reclamation assessments under direction/supervision from senior environmental field personnel.
  • Perform other tasks related to this function as assigned

What We Are Looking For:

  • Enrolled in (or recently graduated from) a university or College program, focusing in the biological, environmental or agricultural sciences;
  • Have and maintain a valid driver license and acceptable MVR
  • Ability to work in remote locations and conduct fieldwork in variable weather and environmental conditions, including mountainous terrain
  • In compliance with Client and Project/Work site requirements, candidates may be required to undergo pre-access screening
