Job Description

We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee the IT-IA-IM baseline configuration for all project-related work, both at the project and office levels. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing policies for documenting and changing baseline project configuration items, ensuring effective project oversight.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Define configuration procedures, including identification, change control, status accounting, and audits, to maintain a robust baseline for project configurations.

  • Actively participate in the evaluation of new network technologies, providing valuable recommendations to the network architecture team for seamless integration into the existing network. Develop and implement methodologies for the analysis, testing, and support of LAN and WAN networks.

  • Utilize advanced network analysis tools to identify and resolve problems within the network, maintaining comprehensive logs and records associated with reported issues.

  • Monitor and report on the security posture of the network, promptly reporting suspected violations to designated authorities.

  • Support operations, maintaining and administering networks, including hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations.

  • Monitor the performance of systems and networks, ensuring adherence to DISA STIG guidelines.

  • Maintain the operational baseline and establish network standards to guarantee optimal performance.

  • Ensure compliance with standards for open systems architectures, reference models, and profiles, such as the IEEE Open Systems Environment (OSE) reference model, in the implementation of Information Management (IM) solutions.

  • Provide support to the Configuration Management Board, including scheduling meetings, developing agendas, entering board-related data in databases, and handling Configuration Control Board action items/issues.

  • Record and report the change process and implementation status for applications.

  • Track and monitor the status of Change Requests (CRs), Discrepancy Reports (DRs), and Request For Changes (RFCs) for IT-IA-IM.

  • Manage the configuration of IT-IA-IM software executables across environments (development, test, staging, and production).


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Minimum of 7 years of experience, which can be a combination of work history and education (Doctorate with 0 years, Masters with 1 year, Bachelor’s with 3 years, Associates with 5 years, or High School with 7 years).

  • Required Clearance: Active TS/SCI, with CI Poly.
