Job Overview:


This position is directly responsible for the coordination of admissions and enrollment management services. The admissions team is a highly visible unit of the school, particularly among the incoming student body. Candidates should be collaborative team players with outstanding organization, interpersonal, and communication skills. The admissions coordinator is responsible for handling a large volume of data/documentation and should have a strong technical and analytical skillset.

  • Highly organized and detailed oriented; adept at multitasking and planning for various tasks simultaneously.
  • Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner, exhibiting judgment and discretion.
  • Supports department and administrative meetings and events.
  • Establish and strive to reach enrollment goals for admissions and retention.
  • Establish and strive to reach activity goals (contacts, visits, etc.).
  • Coordinate and oversee Informational Open House events.
  • Aggressively strive to reach and/or exceed all the recruitment goals for inquiries, campus visits, acceptances, deposits, and new student enrollees.
  • Provide a customer-centered campus visit program and follow-up for all inquiries and applicants.
  • Increase awareness of the school through feeder schools, feeder churches, and other groups.
  • Develop, implement, and manage the retention strategy and process as the “champion for retention” at the school.
  • Coordination of all admissions and enrollment processes.
  • Timely and accurate data entry and application/decision processing to support the growing enrollment of students.
  • Coordinate the application, interview, and acceptance process.
  • Processing and tracking of enrollment agreements.
  • Manage calendar, events, and status for applicant lifecycle.
  • Support planning, implementation, and coordination of internal and external events.
  • Ensure confidentiality of student records and compliance with all applicable regulations.
  • Contribute to the comprehensive enrollment management plan.
  • Assist in the preparation of enrollment agreements and update the application portal.
  • Assist and communicate with prospective families regarding the FACTS program, application process, enrollment, and support services.
  • Provide direct and indirect contact with students, staff, administrators, and faculty advisors for problem resolution related to student files and inquiries.
  • Work collaboratively with school personnel to maximize enrollment and admissions processes.
  • Coordinate international student onboarding and support services.
  • Other office related tasks as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in admissions.
  • Ability to work independently and to influence others both inside and outside the organization.
  • Ability to type at a corrected rate of 45 WPM.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher).
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to relate and interact professionally with students, parents, and staff.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to speak about the organization’s work in an articulate, professional, and compelling manner.
  • Ability to take and give direction, as well as meet firm deadlines.
  • Strong cross-functionality skills requiring a high level of diplomacy.
  • Comfortable working in a fluid, fast-paced, and collaborative environment.
  • Ability to perform sedentary work, exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
  • Must be able to work in a variety of settings.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

This position’s duties are normally performed in a standard work environment based on the activity scheduled. Some physical effort is required; therefore, the employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. He or she may be required to walk or sit for extended periods and may be exposed to outside weather conditions, including but not limited to heat, cold, humidity, rain, and direct sunlight. Manual dexterity and coordination are required over 50% of the work period while operating equipment, such as a computer keyboard, mouse, calculator, and other similar machines.



WORKING CONDITIONS:

Working conditions are dynamic. This requires the willingness to work a flexible schedule that may require occasional weekend and/or evening hours. The employee will be using his or her personal vehicle; therefore, he or she must hold a valid driver’s license in the state where he or she is based and has appropriate auto insurance as required by law. The employee needs to be able to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize work assignments, and do well under pressure. He or she must also demonstrate professionalism and integrity, take initiative, and exercise confidentiality. Finally, the employee must understand and apply all company policies and procedures, can follow instructions, and be detailed oriented, and have good follow-through on all projects.
