The Marketing Financial Administrator is responsible for the timely and accurate payment, tracking and reporting of all Marketing expenses. They will reconcile payments with budgeted expenses and partner with Marketing leaders in the development of expense forecasts.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Partner with Marketing leaders and stakeholders in Finance and Accounting to ensure the accurate and timely management of Marketing budget and expense payments.
  • Enter and maintain Marketing department budget data in finance systems and other tracking tools.
  • Provide necessary reports and documentation for financial reporting.
  • Generate and analyze budget reports, providing insights on vendor performance, payment trends and budget forecasting.
  • Assist in month-end activities, including oversight of accruals.
  • Efficiently and accurately process invoices daily and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Research and resolve invoice discrepancies in a timely fashion.
  • Work with marketing vendors regarding invoice discrepancies and payment inquiries.
  • Analyze vendor invoices and expenses to identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Prepare Marketing team member expense reports in accordance with company policies and in a timely manner.

Experience & Education

  • 3 - 5 years of experience in accounts payable or similar financial role.
  • Proficient in using accounting software like SAP and Anaplan as well as MS Office suite, particularly Excel.
  • Experience in invoice payment and administration.
  • Experience in the creation and maintenance of budget reporting.
  • Experience maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information.
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional teams, including finance and accounting.

Protective's targeted salary range for this position is $70,000 to $75,000. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors, including but not limited to, job location, skills, and experience. The range listed is just one component of Protective's total compensation package for employees.
This position also offers additional incentive opportunities through an annual incentive based on individual and Company performance.
