Serve as the leader of a CCBHC Pathways to Care team(s) and drives CCBHC Pathways to Care implementation and grant data requirements. Work with SMI adult clients transitioning from urgent recovery center or crisis services to outpatient services. Work in partnership with others as part of a structured inter-disciplinary team, within a Certified Community Behavioral Health Center (CCBHC) model, to provide clinical supervision. Must quickly become knowledgeable of the CCBHC Model, intakes, Transitional Relationship Model, and Transitional Care. This model is data driven, requiring close partnership with BI Team, Data Collectors, Project Director, and Evaluator. This position is responsible for effective program management, grant management, fiscal management, data collection and reporting, evaluation and staff management.

Demonstrate advanced clinical practice skills and knowledge in the specific program area

  • Identify and implement emerging evidence based practices, curriculums, assessment tools and initiate process for dissemination and training of staff to assure commitment to service excellence.
  • Promote clinical competence by assuring that clinical services adhere to evidenced based -practices.
  • Develop expertise in the clinical program component supervised by maintaining rigorous personal growth and development plan.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of co-occurring disorders and appropriate interventions.
  • Demonstrate ability to communicate strong ethical standards & resolve ethical dilemmas with staff.
  • Foster effective working relationships and problem solving between clients, families, staff, community providers, and stakeholders .
  • Provide back-up clinical care to clients when assigned staff is unavailable.
  • Assure that all clinical practice and treatment interventions, curriculums, and other service delivery strategies are culturally appropriate for the clients served.
  • Demonstrate ability to respond to subpoenas, court orders and other legal issues that impact clinical staff in the course of providing services.
  • Review and approve all written documentation before sending to third parties.

Provide clinical supervision and case consultation

  • Maintain a well-defined process for assessing and improving staff performance and achieving quality outcomes.
  • Develop case assignments and types of treatment methods employed based on supervisee's core competencies.
  • Provide regular supervision to employees to assure theoretical and conceptual knowledge, skills, techniques and self-awareness of supervisees. Frequency, type and duration of supervision are based upon both an assessment of the supervisee's clinical competency level and agency protocols.
  • Develop and provide an individualized supervision plan for each supervisee using a host of methods i.e.: mentoring, live supervision, peer supervision, case presentation, readings, group supervision, role playing, case record review, etc.
  • Provide for immediate consultation and support to staff as needed in difficult situations.
  • Respond to client feedback, concerns, and grievances in a timely and amiable manner.
  • Provide clinical leadership when needed to intervene in crisis situations.
  • Provide reflective supervision to assist supervisee on issues such as the role of self, feelings about clients, purposes of interventions, and a self-exploration of strengths and weaknesses.
  • Facilitate brainstorming of alternatives, options, and solutions with supervisee to provide high quality client care.
  • Encourage independent and critical thinking with staff.
  • Encourage supervisee's leadership and commitment to the profession
  • Fosters and demonstrates a continuous learning environment.
  • Identify learning needs and style of supervisees; evaluate staff learning abilities and give constructive feedback.
  • Stay abreast and utilize new and effective supervision strategies and participate in all agency sponsored clinical supervisory training and development opportunities.

Promote Professional growth, development and training

  • Ensure that staff obtains necessary training for skill development and adherence to licensure /certification standards.
  • Ensure that supervisees are trained regarding:
    • Assessment, engagement, and treatment skills
    • Effective documentation of clinical records
    • Strength-based assessment and treatment models
    • Ways to avoid malpractice
    • Assessment tools related to mental illness, and emotional and/or behavioral issues, co-occurring disorders, trauma and the ability to use the Diagnostic Statistical Manual
    • Identify and disseminate articles, research and other professional information to staff
    • Identify staff training needs to be addressed by the agency clinical training department

Supervise a group of multidisciplinary team members including

  1. Outreach and engagement specialists
  2. PRSS
  3. Therapist(s)
  4. Data Collectors
  5. Van Driver

GRANT MANAGEMENT AND REPORTING

  • Serve as FCS liaison to SAMSHA contract officers.
  • Oversee daily operations of grant project and ensure compliance with grant standards, grant goals, and data collection.
  • Manage and implement the grant and contract requirements according to the operational and financial goals of the program.
  • Provide training to the new staff on grants management and reporting requirements.
  • Assist with preparation of quarterly and annual SAMHSA reports, and establish and achieve program goals and objectives consistent with SAMHSA grant requirements.
  • Keep staff informed about upcoming deadlines and deliverables, thereby ensuring smooth completion of work responsibilities.
  • Monitor SAMHSA announcements from the Government Program Officer and other related documents connected with the grant.
  • Attend required SAMHSA trainings.
  • Keep up to date of grant deadlines and submit required documents prior to the deadline.
  • Ensure compliance with administrative, regulatory, grant standards, data collection and SAMHSA contractual requirements.

GRANT DATA AND EVALUATION

  • Collaborate with Project Evaluator and Project Director to ensure appropriate data collection and submit regular and special reports.
  • Design and execute tracking and data collection processes according to CCBHC standards including tracking of enrollments, declines, discharges, and transfers.
  • Work closely with Data Collectors and Data Specialist to analyze data and make decisions based on data, reports, and dashboards.
  • Ensure all data tracking protocols are adhered to accurately.
  • Review data reports daily, weekly, and monthly to ensure knowledge of populations and services.
  • Ensure data is collected per grant requirements. Review collected data, reports, assessments, and evaluations to ensure ongoing compliance with project standards
  • Provide training to the new staff on grants management and reporting requirements.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:

  • Must be licensed as an LCSW, LPC, and/or LMFT or under supervision for licensure, in the State of Oklahoma.
  • It is required that all Family and Children's Therapists who are eligible for licensing by the State of Oklahoma be licensed annually and maintain their license, and all other therapists seek appropriate supervision and meet standards that make them eligible for licensure.

This job is classified as a "safety-sensitive" position as defined by the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana and Patient Protection Act.
