About the Role:

Are you passionate about Tax (Onesource) and SAP FICO? Wiley is seeking a highly motivated and experienced SAP Tax & FICO principal to join our dynamic ERP Finance team. This critical role reports to the Director, ERP Finance, and will play a key role in architecting, implementing, and maintaining SAP Tax (ECC and S4 HANA) solutions within our enterprise application landscape.

The primary focus of this role is to take ownership of the Tax solution (Onesource) and secondary focus will be to take leadership in any of the sub modules in SAP FICO such as AR, AP, FSCM or Treasury. This person will work closely across various Wiley Business units and with business and technology stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of solutions for Wiley Finance stakeholders including upcoming modernization program of S4 HANA implementation.

How you will make an impact:

• Own Wiley's Global Tax Solution: Lead the design, implementation, and maintain our global tax solution, ensuring all systems (SAP, eComm, etc.) align with business requirements for efficient and accurate tax accounting across all Wiley entities.
• Spearhead Tax Strategy in S4 HANA: Be the Tax Lead for Finance during our S4 HANA implementation. Collaborate closely with product, business teams, and consultants to ensure a smooth transition.
• Be a Global Tax Problem Solver: Provide customer-centric solutions to tax challenges faced by Wiley entities across US, EMEA, and Asia regions. Manage functional and technical analysis of new functionalities to integrate seamlessly with the tax engine.
• Become a Versatile FICO Expert: Play a key role in any submodule of SAP FICO (AP, AR, Treasury, RAR etc.) by designing and configuring the system to optimize business processes.
• Champion Collaboration: Build strong relationships with business partners (Tax & Finance) to ensure alignment between business priorities and IT deliverables throughout solution lifecycles.
• Foster a High-Performing Team: Contribute to project teams, ensuring high-quality solutions based on best tax practices. Cultivate a collaborative, Agile, and efficient team environment.
• Take active role in any area(s) of SAP FICO such as Accounts Payable, Receivable, Treasury, Cash management, Intercompany accounting, Revenue Accounting and Reporting to design and configure as per business requirements.
• Perform other duties as appropriate in support of company's strategic initiatives.

What we look for:

• Bachelor's degree in finance or computer science or related field or a combination of related experience and education. Preferred Onesource Professional and expert (Determination original Cloud), Determination Enterprise cloud Professional SUT Compliance Certification
• Must have excellent understanding of Onesource, global taxation plus expertise in any Sub module of SAP ECC6 or S4 HANA. Within FICO module, required expertise in any one of sub modules such as AP, AR, FSCM and integration with SD, CRM, and master data systems.
• Must be an expert in analyzing, creating system specifications, and developing tests and implementing business solutions in any sub module of SAP ECC or S4 HANA FICO.
• Experience with S4 HANA implementation in Tax and preferably FICO module.
• At least 1 full cycle implementation projects as Tax lead/ FICO Lead, thorough understanding of the project life cycle from requirements Definition through Post Implementation Support
• Experience in collaboration in a matrix-managed environment, and across multiple and diverse Agile teams.
• Experience working with interfaces with non-SAP applications.
• Ability to assess and manage technical risks and issues.
• Able to report both verbally and in writing to executive level.
