Express Employment is looking for a Machine Operator.
Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00AM - 3:30PM
Pay: $18-$22/hr DOE
Work Location: Chico, CA
Job Description:
- Must be able to make adjustment to the capper within a timely matter.
- Must be able to step-up Capper in a timely matter.
- Will always communicate with maintenance when capper is failing to cap.
- Must work in conjunction with Production Floor Supervisor and QA Manager to achieve line goals in quality, efficiency.
- Must always communicate with Supervisor and QC Supervisor when having capping problems or when line must be stop.
- Shall stop the line when having capping issue.
- Shall monitor all jars to ensure jars are not oil coming out the jar wash and make degrease adjust as necessary
- Monitor air knife to ensure all jars are being dried completely.
- Maintain capper belt inventory and let Maintenance Supervisor know when need to restock.
- Must work affectively with mechanics to troubleshoot any problems with the machinery.
- Identify and resolve operational, manufacturing, and maintenance issues to minimize production delays.
- Ability to to learn and recognize cap sizes, crushed lugs, and cocked caps.
- Ability to train, direct and lead employees as needed.
- Other duties assigned.
Skills Required:
- Ability to understand and follow directions/instructions.
- Experience working on a capper machine.
- Ability to understand and follow all safety requirements.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Physical demands include standing, lifting, walking, and climbing (stairs/ladders)
- Willing to work daily and weekend overtime.
Requirements:
- Must have 1-2 years of current experience
