Looking to add an experienced and driven A&P - IA Inspector to manage an established and growing FBO that has been in business for over 40 years, with strong incentives, a good culture, and established clients. Don't let this opportunity pass you by!

Qualifications

  • Licensed Airframe and Power Plant Technician with IA

  • Prior experience on Lycoming, Continental, and PT6 turbine engines

  • Must have basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills

  • Must be proficient and able to teach and mentor

  • Must be goal-oriented, have exceptional attention to detail, and must work well in team situations and as an individual

  • Must have complete set of own tools to perform the required maintenance of aircraft

  • Must hold a valid US driver's license

  • Dependable/reliable

  • Adaptable/flexible -- enjoys doing work that requires frequent shifts in direction

Responsibilities

  • Maintain current company-owned aircraft including Cherokee 180's, Cessna 182, Thrush 510 P2+, and Piper PA 36-285

  • The A&P - IA Mechanic will report to Owner

  • Coordinate with other team members to ensure completion of maintenance tasks.

  • Conduct inspections, troubleshooting, and diagnostics to identify and resolve mechanical issues.

  • Repair or replace defective components using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments

  • Perform routine maintenance operations, such as the replacement of power plant and aircraft components

  • Perform 100 hr. inspection and annuals

  • Complete all tasks in the allotted time frame and to the quality standards of our company, our customers, and the FAA

  • Promote safety within the workplace by monitoring others and yourself to guarantee all tasks are performed within the safety manual guidelines, and communicate with other mechanics and supervisors to coordinate repairs and keep apprised of safety concerns

  • Keep detailed records of the inspections performed, repairs finished, maintenance procedures, and ordered parts
