Job Title: School Psychologist

Location:Fairfield, CT

Start Date: ASAP

Hours:35-40 hours per week (flexible hours)

Salary: Negotiable, based on experience

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct individual psychological evaluations to assess students' cognitive,behavioral,and emotional functioning.

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities.
  • Provide counseling and support to students on a variety of issues,including academic concerns,social-emotional problems,and behavioral challenges.
  • Consult with teachers and other school personnel to develop and implement interventions to address students' needs.
  • Collaborate with parents and families to provide support and resources.
  • Participate in school-wide initiatives to promote student success and well-being.
  • Stay up-to-date on current research and best practices in school psychology.
Qualifications:
  • Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
  • Valid and current Ohio state license or certification as a School Psychologist.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a School Psychologist in an educational setting.
  • Familiarity with Ohio state regulations and guidelines pertaining to special education and psychological services in schools.
  • Experience in school psychology or a related role preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of psychological assessment and best practices.
  • Familiarity with special education laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make data-informed decisions.
  • Compassion,empathy,and commitment to student success.
