Job Summary: The Shipping Clerk reports directly to the Shipping and Receiving Supervisor and is responsible for assisting with daily shipping duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Assists in stocking of shipping products and supplies

· Assists in loading/unloading goods by hand or by forklift

· Prepares and delivers jobs to local customers

· Prepares jobs to assembly house

· Processes outside service forms

· Creates and print shipping labels as needed

· Scans paperwork for records

· Resolves Shipping issues as required with the appropriate personnel

· Assists in ordering of shipping supplies to ensure adequate supply

· Maintains a positive attitude while working in a fast paced environment

· Follow all required procedures

· Works overtime, weekends and cover other shifts as needed

· And other duties as assigned by supervisor

Education and/or Experience:

· 1- 2 years experience working in a shipping/receiving environment as a Driver (Preferred)

· Acceptable driving record

· Ability to drive in any conditions.

· Basic computer skills required

· Good communications skills

· Willing to accept additional duties and cross train in manufacturing environment

· Read, write and speak English

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to properly lift packages up to 50+ lbs

· Constant bending and lifting

· Occasional overhead reaching

· Occasional use of ladders

· Standing/Walking for long periods of time and able to work under different weather environments
