Position Overview:
As a Contract Speech Pathologist Assistant at Soliant, you will play a pivotal role in assisting licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering top-quality therapy services to our patients. This contract position offers flexibility and the chance to work alongside experienced professionals in various healthcare settings, all while making a meaningful impact on the lives of those you serve.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Support: Collaborate with licensed Speech-Language Pathologists to provide direct patient care. Assist in assessments, therapy sessions, and treatment planning.
Therapeutic Activities: Administer therapeutic exercises and activities designed to improve speech, language, and communication skills.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including progress notes and treatment plans, in compliance with regulatory standards.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the therapy team, healthcare professionals, and families to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
Education: Educate patients and their families on exercises and strategies to facilitate communication progress both during therapy sessions and at home.
Compliance: Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards governing speech therapy practices.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech Pathologist Assistant (SPA) in Kentucky.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a healthcare team.

Contract Details:
