JOB SUMMARY

Under the direct supervision of the Assistant Manager of Health and Fitness, the Personal Trainer is responsible for their client's physical assessments, exercise prescription and motivation as well as policy enforcement, record keeping and delivering excellent customer service at all times to every member.

JOB DETAILS AND REQUIREMENTS

Type: PRN

Education:

- High School Diploma or GED- required

- Bachelor's degree- preferred

Certifications & Licensures:

- At least one (1) of the following certifications ACSM, ACE, AFAA, NSCA, NASM, ISSA or other manager approved certification- required

- BLS certified within 90 days of hire date- required

Experience:

-Experience in the administration of physical assessments, exercise prescriptions and program development.

-Basic computer operational skills preferred. Excellent communication and customer services skills-required.

-Ability to work variable hours necessary.

-Possess a professional attitude and appearance.

-Must be capable of maintaining positive ongoing communications.
