Solution Architect AI/ML - W2 ONLY - HYBRID

SOLUTION ARCHITECT WITH AI/ML EXPERIENCE ALTA IT Services has a 12 month+ contract opening for a Solution Architect with AI/ML experience to support a Reston, VA-based financial services customer. This position is hybrid to Reston, VA 3 days per week (Tues, Wed, Thu). Job Description: The Solution Architect role applies vast experience of system architecture, business architecture and data architecture with knowledge of AI/ML, infrastructure domains, latest technologies to support key IT initiatives. The individual must possess the ability to analyze solutions and technologies and provide solution architecture for organization's current and future needs. The candidate would have to apply the AI/ML and Generative AI technical skills to design innovative solutions, identify risks, trade-offs to support business needs. The candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to reviewing business and technical requirements, focusing on solution development throughout the project lifecycle, supporting development, evangelizing best practices and proven patterns, and escalating architecture issues and concerns. The candidate will promote the use of Corporate IT standards, and will create architectures and designs, and will develop target state architectures. MUST HAVE SKILLS: Application architecture experience AWS experience AI/ML experience REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in designing end to end architecture (Business, Logical, Technology, Resiliency architecture) for any business need. Experience with defining business architecture artifacts such as business capability/functions, process flow mapping, design experience required. Hands on application solution design experience in AWS using AWS native services. Experience and skills in designing AI/ML solution architecture for business use cases with hands on coding for proof of concepts. Experience with Open source and Commercial AI/ML tools and frameworks. Data Analytics solutioning experience in AWS cloud using AWS cloud native services. SaaS/COTS solutions capabilities analysis and recommend integration architecture. Provide solutions based on Enterprise Integration patterns, Event Driven Architecture, API, Web services, SOA and Micro Services Good understanding of Enterprise data containers including TDS, ODS, Data warehouse, DataMart, and Enterprise Data Lake Exposure to relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server or Netezza & hands-on development using Java or Python Exposure to architecting application resiliency (local and DR) & performance optimization Experience working in Agile, SAFe methodology including JIRA tool. Excellent communication, presentation, and architecture documentation skills Professional demeanor QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent 10+ years of related experience AWS Solution Architect Associate or Professional certification and with hands on experience Expertise in AI/ML with solution architecture, cloud-native Machine Learning architectural patterns and hands-on experience. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Mortgage Industry knowledge experience Experience in defining business portfolio architecture blueprint. Knowledge in Financial Models and Model Risk management TOGAF Certification or a good understanding of TOGAF or other EA frameworks HOURLY RATE: $110/hr. range W2 only. Benefits available.
