Talento Search Group has an opening for a CNC Programmer in the Rockford, Illinois area. This is a direct-hire position on 1st shift.
*Duties & Responsibilities:*
* Create programs by using MasterCam
* Setup and operation of CNC machines
* Verify quality of work
* Meet daily production goals
* Perform preventive maintenance on ship equipment
* Build and repair tools and fixtures
* Maintain proper inventory of hand tools and inspection equipment
* Record product and processing data
* Wear PPE as needed
*Experience Needed:*
* Associates Degree in Machine Shop Technology is preferred
* Must have experience programming with MasterCam
* At least 2 years of CNC machining experience
* Experience performing changeovers and changing tooling
* Basic math skills
* Ability to produce parts with tight tolerances
