Senior Fleet Mechanic

(Up to $5,000 Sign-on Bonus)

 

Triumvirate Environmental, one of the largest environmental services firms in North America, is seeking a Senior Fleet Mechanic for our Somerville team.

This highly motivated, problem-solving, and disciplined individual will be responsible for overseeing the fleet mechanic operations in the facility

This position reports to the Fleet Manager. This role is onsite and is based in Somerville, MA. 

 

Essential responsibilities:

  • Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and routine repairs on heavy equipment
  • Lead and develop other mechanics
  • Oversee fleet mechanic operations in the facility
  • Timely completion of assigned repairs
  • Perform tire service
  • Able to diagnose equipment
  • Perform airbrake adjustments and repairs
  • Perform maintenance on and repair high powered vacuum equipment
  • Assist supervisor as needed

 

Basic Requirements:

  • 4 + years of experience services heavy truck, trailer, and automotive or industrial equipment).
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Class D driver’s license required.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English
  • Must own all tools necessary to perform required tasks
  • Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change, or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.

  • Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
