Ready-Mix Truck Driver - Full-time

Job Summary:

This is a skilled position working in a production environment. As a Ready-Mix Concrete Driver, you are responsible for set up and delivery of quality, ready-mix concrete from our facility to valued customers.

Essential Functions:

1. Protect Family and Friends. Follow all Company Safety Policies and Procedures as well as Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations and guidelines. Support business activities, objectives, and programs.
2. Arrive to work at time scheduled. Upon start of work be prepared with proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
3. Dedication. Ensure that the vehicle is in proper and safe condition prior to use and accept responsibility to report any damage or mechanical malfunctions that exist.

Requirements, Education and Experience:

1. Valid Driver's License
2. Experience working in the manufacturing/construction environment preferred.
3. Minimum 2 years driving experience.
4. High School Diploma or GED, preferred.
5. Proficient verbal and written English
6. Legal right to work in the U.S.

Travel:
This role requires 100% travel by company vehicle throughout the Shaftsbury region.

Work Environment/Physical Demands:

This position works both indoor and outdoors. Heavy work that includes moving objects up to 50 lb. or more. This position works on or near moving mechanical parts and loud equipment. Requires the ability to sit or stand for long periods of time as well as lifting, pulling, bending, kneeling, squatting, climbing, walking, reaching, driving, and repetitive motion.
