Development - App Dev - Java - Sr

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Development - App Dev - Java – Sr. with our client in the financial industry located in McLean, VA. This is an 11+ month contract position. Responsibilities: Develop REST API, Kafka consumer producer using Java/spring boot and Cloud native controls Responsible for overall design, development, writing automated unit test cases, participating in end to end integration testing, performance testing and maintenance of services Develop and support complex AWS infrastructure delivering applications Communicate across teams to help build web portal applications leveraging enterprise frameworks Help to ensure a well-managed posture, identifying and resolving application vulnerabilities, delivering on Enterprise Tech Backlog Provide support across the team and ensure timely delivery of features Work closely within the team to help storyboard features Requirements: Excellent coding skills in both Java and AWS Lambdas Strong understanding and application of AWS services Demonstrated technical proficiency Demonstrated problem solving for complex issues Demonstrated design thinking for complex features Demonstrated leadership qualities, either at the team level or project level Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
