Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
2. Coordinate and execute the month-end and year-end closing process, ensuring the accurate and timely completion of all tasks.
3. Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
4. Conduct complex financial analysis and prepare detailed reports, presenting insights and recommendations to senior management.
5. Coordinate and lead the annual audit process, liaise with external auditors and manage the preparation of all necessary schedules, work papers, and financial statements.
6. Develop and implement effective accounting policies and procedures that ensure financial data integrity and compliance with laws and regulations.
7. Collaborate with the financial management team to develop budgets, financial plans, and forecasts.
8. Participate in special projects and initiatives and provide financial consulting and strategic support to senior management.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field.
2. CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
3. Minimum of 3 years of related experience, preferably in a senior accounting or public accounting role.
4. Proficient knowledge of GAAP and experience with financial statement preparation.
5. Proven experience in managing a comprehensive set of controls designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with GAAP.
6. Exceptional analytical skills and experience creating financial reports and conducting cost analyses.
7. Strong proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with accounting software.
8. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
9. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage well through ambiguity and complexity.
10. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a proactive and positive business attitude.
