Project

MLRM (Medical Legal Risk Management) uses a process called the Review Panel Discussion (RPD), Below is a breakdown of the process:

1. Review and/or Virtual panel conference only, no in-person exam required.
2. Receive and assess the review materials provided by MLRM for completeness
3. Compose Summary of Care and Evaluation of Care
4. Compose Review Document (aka WESC)
5. Attend Teleconference to discuss review.

Timeframe:

1. Written review (WESC) within 7 calendar days
2. Review of additional practitioner statements within 3 calendar days
3. Revise written work products within 3 calendar days
4. Propose at least 3 dates for panel conference; must reply within 48 hours of receiving a request

Payrate:

Standard : Tier 2 Max $429 per case

1. Each panel conference typically takes around 1-3 Hours to complete.

Must have 20 hours a month of active practice.

You will be under Maximus’s coverage but within these reviews you are not liable for anything because you are not diagnosing, seeing any patients, you are merely reviewing a file and providing your medical expert opinion.
