Manual Lathes Machinist

Advantage Resourcing is seeking a Manual Lathes Machinist to join our team in Dothan, AL, where you'll contribute to a company dedicated to providing reliable and affordable electric service to customers.

Hours: 1st Shift, Monday-Friday, 7 am-4 pm

Salary: $37,440.00 - $50,000.00 based on experience.

As a Manual Lathes Machinist, you'll play a crucial role in setting up and operating manual lathes to craft precision parts as per engineering drawings and specifications.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Manual Lathe Machinist in a manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical/vocational training in machining preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Manual Lathe Machinist.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Strong knowledge of machining principles, tool selection, and setup procedures.
• Familiarity with various materials, including metals and alloys.
• Ability to perform routine maintenance on machines and tools.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
