Summary The client has an exciting opportunity in the Information Technology Department. We are looking for a SAP IS Oil Business Analyst who can optimize processes throughout the implementation, support, and enhancement of SAP IS Oil and Gas solution to focus on Deal Capture, Contract Management, Commodity Pricing Engine (CPE) and Customer Facing Forms development. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to identify, map and implement improvements and support the SAP S4 Hana implementation for the Energy sector.
  Responsibilities
  • Responsible for Deal Capture, Contract Management, Commodity Pricing Engine (CPE)and Transactional Reporting related aspects of the SAP IS Oil and Gas solution.
  • Responsible for designing forms, interfaces, reports, conversions with a focus on Deal capture, Sales and Distribution (SD) and Materials Management (MM) modules of the SAP IS Oil and Gas Solution.
  • Responsible for configuring SAP IS Oil and Gas solution with a focus on Deal capture, Sales and Distribution (SD) and Materials Management (MM).
  • Design and test integration with Information Management Systems (e.g. OpenText)
  • Design and test integration with Electronic and Digital signature systems (e.g. Adobe Sign)
  • Design and test integration with customer portal
  • Driving large ERP transformation programs utilizing business processes mapping, fit to standard, UAT & SIT testing and cutover processes using the SAP Activate program methodology.
  • Help translate business requirements, manage scope and complexity and drive testing sign-off.
  • Lead workstream projects and use project management skills to structure, describe and present complex issues/solutions.
  • Work with technical teams to design and configure SAP S/4HANA IS Oil and Gas solution.
  • Responsible for the technical design, construction, testing, and delivery of the system based on functional business requirements.
  • Provide functional and technical perspective in core workstream, as well as integration with other modules.
  • Develop/manage detailed configuration and testing of the system to meet functional business requirements.
  • Develop workflows, troubleshoot issues and train super users /end users on system usage.
  • Facilitating business sessions gaining technical alignment of priorities, requirements, designs, testing, training, and project steps going forward towards deployment and stabilization. 
  • Complete work tasks as assigned by leadership team and be able to work independently.
Minimum Qualifications (required)
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, management information systems, business, finance, or in a related field preferred.
  • Solid knowledge of relevant business processes and their integration with SAP systems in area of SAP IS Oil and Gas
  • Minimum 5 years leading complex SAP IS Oil & Gas engagements/implementations including all phases of the project life cycle from executing explore, design, delivery, and testing (SAP Activate methodology)
  • Must have domain experience with Oil & gas industry (IS-OIL) business processes from the wellhead to the gas station and how to optimize them, S/4HANA experience is Plus
Additional Qualifications
  • SAP certification in SAP SD or SAP MM or SAP IS OIL and Gas.
  • Experience working on SAP S/4HANA projects with working knowledge of Fiori apps.
  • Experience in the Oil & Gas industry, including Upstream, Midstream and downstream processes
  • Knowledge, understanding, and integrations of the following SAP modules: PM, GL, AP, AR, FA, Tax, CO, MM, SD, to identify gaps in current design and provide solutions to meet current and future requirements
    Solid understanding in SD-FI integrations (AR accounting, inventory accounting, inter-company processing), and setting up SD pricing design and integration and knowledge of SD-MM integration (MM fields impacting SD)
  • Integration into Commodity Risk Management on the Oil and Gas and Energy Trading industry facilitates the implementation and support of the SAP Commodity Management and Risk Management solutions.
