Scope:

Reports to Machine Shop Supervisor for scheduling, operations, and output of the CNC work center to maximum utilization and efficiency.

Duties:
  • Responsible for production of a combination of production metal parts as well as prototype metal parts.
  • Responsible for fabrication of engineering-designed fixtures and tooling for production.
  • Ability to develop custom tooling to improve machining efficiency.
  • Keep Machine Shop Supervisor and Facilities informed of problems and breakdowns.
  • Work closely with CNC Programmer to help generate time saving production tapes.
  • Anticipate requirements for production runs and inform supervisor of those needs.
  • Perform first-piece inspection of all set-ups to insure high yield and quality of work performed.
  • Ability to maneuver large metal pieces and lift up to 35lbs is required.
  • Actively comply with and enforce safety regulations.

Essential Knowledge and Skills:
  • Ability to operate CNC Milling Machines and/or Manual Milling Machine and Lathe
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings required.
  • Ability to use computer and utilize online order management system.
  • Must have good communication, organizational, and analytical skills
Preferred Education: Associates Degree- Machine Trades Education a Plus

Required Education: High school Education
Experience: 3+ Years Relevant Experience, 3-Axis CNC Mill Operation or Manual Milling Machine / Lathe Operation

Compensation and Benefits:

Compensation ranges for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At TTM Technologies, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on each individual set of circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:
$41,070 - $64,917

Additional compensation: An annual or quarterly company bonus may apply based on position assignment. Positions hired for alternative shift may be eligible for a shift premium based on the assigned shift and location.
