We are looking for a CNC Operator to join our North Charleston, SC team - see below for job details:
- Maintains a safe work environment and complies with all EHS policies and procedures.
- Maintains conformance to IATF 16949 quality management standards. Verify respective procedures and documentation are accurate. Identify and suggest changes to procedures as appropriate.
- Operates CNC equipment which include milling, turning, drilling, tapping, de-burring, sawing and sanding tasks.
- Leads or assists with setups, changeovers, and troubleshooting issues with equipment or processes.
- Use gauges such as dial indicators, calipers, and plug gauges to ensure quality specifications are maintained. Make machine adjustments as applicable. Utilize the CMM as applicable to confirm quality specifications.
- Maintain records related to production, quality, etc.
- Communicate issues between shifts and escalates to leadership as necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Previous CNC work experience.
- Previous experience with hand gauges.
- Basic English language competency.
Preferred Skills and experience:
- TS16949/ISO14001/ISO9001 system familiarity.
- Understanding of Lean practices.
