SUMMARY

Responsible for implementing effective product/production planning and forecasting processes. You will impact business results through forecast analysis, , transportation coordination, KPI management, and critical business work processes. You will also use advanced planning tools to visualize results, generate reports and balance key variables. This position requires excellent analytical skills along with interpersonal, written, presentation, and verbal communication skills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Responsible for managing the demand forecasts and corresponding capacity plans of a Pella business segment.

Activities include:

• Accountable for developing and maintaining mid and long term end-to-end demand/supply network plan for assigned manufacturing sites/brands/channels

• Own the collection of forecast inputs, validate inputs, and aggregate the demand signal to generate a consensus forecast

• Own the finished goods inventory and production plan (DRP, MRP, MPS, Constraints, Inventory Policy, IO)

• Accountable for developing what-if supply scenarios and supply plans to continuously improve performance relating to both service levels and total costs through continuous evaluation of supply, outsourcing strategies, product strategies and the positioning of inventory across the global supply chain.

• Provide input to the S&OP process to incorporate major demand and supply issues to the network plan and any major deviations to the budget and/or previous plan.

• Leads S&OP Alignment Meeting(s) as needed with Pella teams

• Communicate decisions and supply impacts to management and S&OE planning, escalation and prioritization of supply responses around all issues, and opportunities impacting customer service

• Actively participate and support NPI / EOL to ensure that supply network plans are optimally created and that supply plans are executed in support of the established timelines and global strategy who

• Cross-functional teamwork between groups inside and outside the organization including Sales Management, Consumer Insights, Field Sales, Marketing, S&OE team, Business Analysts team, Finance, and Quality

• Maintain SKU/FU portfolio knowledge base and planning specific data

• Identify, implement, and document improvements to current processes when appropriate.

Ability to work with one or more Planning Systems like Anaplan, O9, Onestream, Oracle, Kinaxis, and others

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This job has no supervisory responsibilities however plays a significant coordination role cross-functionally.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and be able to work independently. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; and 4-5 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably in sales, supply chain, consulting supply chain, or operations.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to effectively organize and present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Word, Advanced Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Oracle, Alation, Anaplan, Power BI / Tableau. Ability to utilize advanced supply chain tools if the company chooses to implement a new tool. A solid understanding of ERP data and transaction flows; ideally Oracle ERP.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

MBA or APICS Certification preferred but not required.
