Position Description

We're seeking a talented Graphic and Multimedia Designer who can transform concepts into compelling visual representations across both print and electronic media. As a key member of our Corporate Communications team, you'll play a crucial role in shaping our brand identity and making a lasting impact through your designs. The ideal candidate will have a natural eye for design and be a prolific generator of dynamic ideas that connect with audiences, both externally and internally.

In this role you will:
  • Work on a diverse range of projects and media, utilizing various software programs to develop innovative graphic designs that align with business objectives.
  • Lead efforts supporting web, print, video, and digital marketing materials.
  • Ensure all designs adhere to organizational standards, accurately convey ideas, and represent the company effectively.
  • Work independently as well as collaborate closely with the rest of the Corporate Communications team to meet deadlines, manage project budgets, and schedule implementations based on workload priorities.
  • Maintain and update internal databases for designs, photography, and video assets.
  • Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategize with the Corporate Communications team, business units, Business Development, and Human Resources department on a variety of materials including advertisements, collateral, signage, newsletters, videos, website, presentations, and marketing materials.
  • Translate strategic direction into high-quality designs while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Manage the design process for all graphic design projects, ensuring timely delivery of materials.
  • Support the development and integration of corporate branding across various materials used throughout the organization.
  • Work with tradeshow coordinator to support the development of graphics, messaging, collateral, and other visual tradeshow requirements.
  • Be responsible for design, layout, production of marking materials for business development/sales teams.


Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will have:
  • A Bachelors Degree
    • Or a High School Diploma/GED with 9 years of experience with design software (including Adobe Suite - Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop), and video editing platforms in lieu of degree
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with design software (including Adobe Suite - Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop), and video editing platforms
  • 3 years of professional graphic design experience
  • Exceptional creativity and innovative design skills
  • Ability to collaborate with international webmasters to ensure a continued refresh of web design
  • Advanced proficiency in photography and videography, including camera operation, lighting setup, and audio management
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Eagerness to continue expanding skill set through ongoing education and training
  • Ability to deliver advertisements and materials that meet specifications designated by industry and 3rd party organizations
  • Ability to travel up to 25%

Additional desired experience and skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, art, or a related discipline
  • Established relationships with print vendors to support various projects
  • Knowledge of designing social media campaign graphics
  • Experience supporting events, such as tradeshows, conferences, and awards programs
