Eagle Harbor, LLC, a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC, and a Federal Government Contractor industry leader, is seeking a in Laboratory Quality Assurance Specialist in Quantico, VA.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Provide quality assurance services necessary to sustain FBI Laboratory quality assurance efforts supporting forensic operations, while ensuring compliance with FBI Laboratory quality assurance policies and protocols, as well as the applicable accreditation standards.
  • Serve as a technical expert in quality assurance for the FBI Laboratory especially as it relates to the re-baseline of the Laboratory Division (LD) quality system and the alignment of the quality system with ISO 17025:2017 and ANAB AR 3125 requirements. Develop, administer, operate, manage, and maintain various Quality Assurance Program (QAP) segments, as assigned.
  • Assist in managing specialized and fundamental quality functions such as software and hardware testing, analytical quality control, verification of system, and document changes and quality audits.
  • Ensure aspects of quality assurance, quality control, and proficiency testing practices are sound and within established quality assurance program guidelines.
  • Assist in coordinating and managing activities in support of quality assurance, ensuring it is properly designed and implemented in a manner providing reliable support for those objectives responsive to the mission of the LD.
  • Through audit, testing, and other software, following QAP practices and procedures, assess needs regarding quality. Advise LD management in the development, implementation, and supervision of related programs.
  • Write reports on the progress and success of QAP matters and changes to the operational environments, and present to supervisor(s), which may be incorporated into a more comprehensive report or stand-alone report and be presented to management.
  • Serve as a resource for the LD for QAP, and coordinate, schedule and manage periodic audits to determine conformance with approved quality policies and established procedures.
  • Recommend implementation of preventive measures and action steps to ensure non-recurrence of deficiencies.
