Director, Quality Assurance - Full-time

Job Title: Director, Quality Assurance

Job Location: Tampa, FL or Vienna, VA

Security Clearance: Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance

Due to the nature of work, US Citizenship is required.

Job Responsibilities:

Trace systems is actively recruiting for a Director of Quality Assurance to join our team. Job responsibilities include:

• Compliance management and continuous improvement of the company's quality program through utilizing quality assurance concepts, methodologies, and practices.
• Maintain the company's ISO 9001, ISO 27001, and ISO 20000 certifications and CMMI for Development model.
• Assess departments, programs/projects through internal audits; establish audit schedules, agendas, and generate reports for Senior Management.
• Supports complex analysis and reporting on Service Level Agreement (SLA)/Key Performance Indicator (KPI) performance data Identify defects in processes; open and monitor corrective actions as applicable.
• Manage external assessments required for ISO and CMMI certifications.
• Aid in the creation and maintenance of company policies, procedures, plans, processes, etc.
• Aid in the creation, coordination, and presentation of training efforts company wide.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and system enhancements that could improve the overall quality management system.
• Work with company stakeholders to create, correct, and improve detailed business processes.
• Perform other duties as required.
• Occasional travel is required for this position.

Minimum Qualifications:

• A minimum of five (5) years Quality Management experience is required.
• A minimum of five (5) years auditing experience is required.
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience with SharePoint administration and process automation within Microsoft Power Applications is required.
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience with ISO 9001, 20000 and 27001 is required.
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience with Microsoft Office tool suite, especially MS Project and Visio.
• Experience identifying defects in processes and in opening and monitoring corrective actions.
• Experience monitoring, measuring, and evaluating the effectiveness of quality program operations, processes, procedures, etc.
• Excellent interpersonal communication, strong written, verbal, and active listening skills.
• Research driven and motivated in continuous improvement; self-starter in seeking opportunities to improve.
• Strong analytical abilities; task and goal oriented, adept at initiating and prioritizing tasks.
• Excellent time management, attention to detail, and well-organized skills.
• Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance.
• Due to the nature of work, US Citizenship is required.

Desired Qualifications:

• Lean Six Sigma training w/certification.

Education:

• A minimum of a Bachelor of Science in Business, Math, or Engineering.
