Sharbert Enterprises is seeking a Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our team and play a pivotal role in managing customer orders for our Montana Gift Corral e-commerce website.


Position: Customer Service Representative (CSR)


Responsibilities:

  • Receive and process customer orders placed through the Montana Gift Corral e-commerce website.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Communicate with customers via phone, email, and live chat to assist with order inquiries, product information, and shipping updates.
  • Assist with product returns, exchanges, and refunds per company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to provide feedback on customer trends, preferences, and suggestions for website improvements.

Product Knowledge and Support:

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of our products, including features, specifications, and usage instructions.
  • Assist customers with product selection and provide recommendations based on their needs and preferences.
  • Stay updated on new product releases, promotions, and company policies to provide accurate information to customers.

Order Processing and Fulfillment:

  • Process online orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely fulfillment and shipment.
  • Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure accurate picking, packing, and shipping of orders.
  • Generate shipping labels, packing slips, and other necessary documentation for outgoing orders.
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate any stock shortages or discrepancies to the relevant team members.

Shipping and Logistics:

  • Select appropriate shipping methods based on customer preferences, shipping destination, and delivery timelines.
  • Coordinate with shipping carriers to schedule pickups and track shipments, ensuring timely delivery and resolving any issues that may arise during transit.
  • Maintain shipping records and documentation, including tracking numbers and delivery confirmations.
  • Optimize shipping processes to minimize costs and improve efficiency while maintaining high-quality service standards.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in customer service, preferably in an e-commerce or retail environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing customer needs and concerns.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including navigating web-based systems and using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of basic sales and customer service principles, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Additional education or training in customer service, logistics, or e-commerce management is a plus.


Working Conditions: This position operates in a warehouse environment. The role requires occasional lifting of packages and prolonged periods of standing or sitting. Flexibility in working hours may be necessary to accommodate peak sales periods and shipping deadlines.
