Accounting Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Accounting Assistant. The Accounting Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting our financial operations by assisting with various accounting tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in the field of accounting.

Duties:

- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes

- Process invoices, bills, expense reports, and purchase orders

- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions

- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures

- Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting

- Conduct credit analysis on customers and vendors

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records

- Assist with payroll processing

- Utilize accounting software such as Quickbooks or other similar programs

- Additional office duties as needed

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred

- Strong understanding of technical accounting principles

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

- Strong organizational and time management skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
