Job Description
CNC Senior Machinist - Dallas, TX
For this position you will be able to read and interpret part drawings and write and edit CNC programs to manufacture the part.

Leading manufacturer of high performance tools, and custom machined and molded elastomeric products, including rubber-to-metal bonded parts. Our 30,000 square-foot facility is located in Dallas, Texas. Now a part of one of North America’s largest companies supplying rubber seals and machined metal parts to the machinery industry.
Primary Duties:
  1. Understand and interpret 2D and 3D drawings.
  2. Create CNC programs for complex new parts as needed.
  3. Create and maintain setup/instruction sheets for new programs.
  4. Develop and assist with the design of fixtures.
  5. Operate CNC Mazak Mill including loading of parts, operating controls. Follow company machining processes, instructions on job travelers, and other documented procedures.
  6. Inspect parts for conformance to company and customer specifications, policies, and procedures.
  7. Complete special assignments as requested.
  8. Follow all housekeeping and orderliness standards.
  9. Follow all safety rules.

Qualifications & Experience
  • 5-7 years in a professional machine shop workplace.
  • Working knowledge of Mazatrol and G-Code programming. Haas programming a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret technical drawings.
  • Experience using calipers, micrometers, bore gages and other machine shop measuring instruments.
  • Organized. Able to maintain a clean an orderly work area.
  • Team player.
  • Must read, write and speak English.

Education Requirements
  • High School degree.
  • Associates or bachelor’s degree, a plus.

Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to lift 35 pounds, and Handle equipment weighing up to 175 lbs.
