We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in operating both horizontal and vertical mills, along with a strong understanding of G codes and M codes. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality precision parts according to blueprints and specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC mills (both horizontal and vertical) to produce precision parts
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to determine machining requirements
- Program CNC machines using G codes and M codes to execute machining operations efficiently
- Conduct quality checks using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to ensure parts meet specifications
- Make adjustments to CNC programs and machine settings as necessary to maintain product quality
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshoot machining issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in CNC machining is preferred
- Willing and able to submit and pass a drug and background screening
- Experience as a CNC Machinist, with expertise in operating horizontal and vertical mills
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
- Strong understanding of G codes and M codes programming
- Ability to set up and calibrate CNC machines
- Experience with precision measuring instruments and quality inspection technique
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
