Job Title Shipping and Receiving Clerk
Salary: $16 - $18 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Job Description:
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving clerk to join our client's team. The primary responsibility of this role is to visually inspect components and/or tubulars for damage, ensuring quality standards are met. This position involves unloading, verifying shipments, and maintaining accurate records of inventory.

Responsibilities:
Perform visual inspection of components and/or tubulars for damage, noting any discrepancies on the Tally Sheet and reporting to the Quality Assurance Department.
Ensure components and/or tubular products are protected from damage during unloading.
Verify components and/or tubular products against Bill of Lading, Manifest, and/or packing list.
Notify Pipe Yard Supervisor and/or Inventory Control Clerk if there are any discrepancies in shipments.
Record shipment data accurately, including quantities, component type, pipe size, grade, and tally length on a Tally Sheet.
Operate forklift safely and efficiently as required.

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
Experience in a manufacturing atmosphere preferred.

Education:
High School

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
Valid Driver's License required for Forklift Operation.
Experience in a manufacturing atmosphere preferred.
Ability to transfer information from components and/or tubular products onto paperwork legibly.
Organizational skills to match paperwork with tally sheets/receiving tickets.
Comfortable working outdoors in various climates throughout the year.
Ability to pass forklift training/certification process.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
