SUMMARY
This position will ensure location compliance (Financial Reporting, adherence to all GAAP, SOX, and policies and procedures). Practice risk management and ASAT compliance for all aspects of controls. Provide financial leadership and data analysis to develop actions and alternatives in management decision-making. Preparation of budgets and forecasting and corresponding financial accountability. Developing financial acumen in the location lead team and developing direct reports.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Compliance
- Support Plant Management with locations ASAT
- Location compliance to all policies and procedures (strong focus on inventory, Fixed Assets, and revenue)
- Lead the coordination of physical count procedures
- Oversee accounting activities, including recurring manual journal entries, account reconciliations, and accounts analysis
- Oversee all closing-related activities
- Lead the analysis of any tax-related activities at the site
- Prepare for and assist with audits
Business Partnering
- Preparation of budgets and forecasts and analysis of actual performance
- Preparation and analysis of location P&L results
- Develop and maintain robust profitability analysis at the site
- Understanding of contracts with customers and impacts on the financial performance of the site
- Monitor, track, and communicate business performance (daily P&L, forecasting, etc.). Propose action items where appropriate
- Perform financial analysis to enable effective communication of results
- Provide Financial leadership for the evaluation of projects, plans, and investments
- Data analysis for decision-making and tracking performance progress, which allows value-added financial/operational insights
- Calculations and communication of location key metrics. Drive actions when needed
People
- Manage and develop Finance Staff
Miscellaneous
- Other projects or activities as required/requested by management
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- BS/BA in Finance or Business, MBA a plus.
Experience
- 10+ years of Finance (preferably in a manufacturing environment)
Skills and Abilities
- People management experience
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical capabilities
- Ability to influence others, particularly those who do not report to you.
- Oracle ERP experience or other similar systems (JD Edwards, SAP, others)
- The flexibility of time, thoughts, and methods to achieve tasks
- Strong knowledge of Hyperion
- Must have strong cost accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of forecasting
- Strong project management skills
- Capable of working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and quickly changing environment.
- Capable of multitasking
