Salary: Up to $65,000 Annually, Plus Comprehensive Benefits Package



Our beachfront resort in the heart of Cape May, NJ, is seeking a dynamic Front Desk Manager to lead our front office operations. This pivotal role is designed for a hospitality professional who ensures guest satisfaction and manages daily operations with precision and grace. As the Front Desk Manager, you will be the cornerstone of our guest experience, embodying our commitment to excellence and personalized service.


Key Responsibilities:


  • As the Front Desk Manager, you will maintain an in-depth knowledge of hotel systems, operations, and Night Audit procedures, ensuring seamless guest experiences from check-in to check-out.
  • Lead, develop, and mentor the Front Desk staff, enforcing standard operating procedures and company policies as the Front Desk Manager.
  • The Front Desk Manager is responsible for crafting weekly work schedules and adapting to business demands to meet both guest and operational needs efficiently.
  • Uphold the highest guest service and satisfaction standards, empowering the Front Desk team to resolve guest needs decisively and compassionately as the Front Desk Manager.
  • Ensure all guest interactions by the Front Desk staff are conducted with professionalism and courtesy, addressing any discrepancies as the Front Desk Manager.
  • As the Front Desk Manager, you will collaborate closely with the Housekeeping management to ensure room readiness and address guest concerns promptly.


Requirements:


  • Proven experience in a Front Desk Manager or similar role within a luxury or full-service hotel, with at least 2-3 years of managerial experience.
  • Adept at using property management systems and understanding financial forecasting as it pertains to the front office.
  • Exceptional leadership skills, focusing on team development, training, and motivation.
  • Flexibility to work varying schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is a key feature of our Cape May, NJ location, reflecting the dynamic environment.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with an emphasis on providing solutions that enhance the guest experience.
