Nurse Practitioner- Urgent Care with experience, Part Time $4,750 Sign On!

Job Summary:

The Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner is responsible for providing immediate medical care to patients with acute illnesses or injuries in an urgent care setting. This role involves conducting assessments, diagnosing conditions, implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform thorough assessments of patients with urgent care needs.
2. Diagnose and treat acute medical conditions.
3. Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging studies.
4. Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans.
5. Prescribe medications and administer treatments as needed.
6. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff for patient care.
7. Provide patient education on medical conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care.
8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
9. Respond to medical emergencies within the urgent care setting.
10. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
11. Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards in healthcare.
12. Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
13. Stay current with developments in urgent care medicine through ongoing education.

Qualifications:

1. Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing (MSN or DNP).
2. Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the relevant specialty.
3. State licensure as a Nurse Practitioner.
4. BLS and ACLS certification.
5. Previous experience in urgent care or emergency medicine preferred.

• Schedule: Monday- Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm (as we grow may go to weekends and Holidays and schedule may adjust)
• Malpractice:  Employer paid malpractice coverage ($1,000,000 / $3,000,000).
