Job Description
T&M is currently hiring for a Senior Construction Manager to join our rapidly growing Professional Construction Management Team in Columbus, OH. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Construction Manager to join a team of highly skilled professionals in the expansion of our group.
This individual will have responsibilities in the following:
- Collect information using project control tools to show daily project status, compile information weekly and coordinate monthly project status reports to communicate progress.
- Utilize risk mitigation measures as necessary to maintain the clients’ objectives throughout the duration of the project
- Facilitate project meetings and coordinate activities
- Attend project and issue specific meetings as necessary for issue resolution
- Monitor and Track Schedule related issues throughout the complete construction life cycle
- Maintain accurate project financial forecasts
- Ensure timely submittal and approval of change orders
- Manage project related communications with stakeholders
- Provide Document management as necessary for the successful execution of the project
- Complete constructability and design review of all drawings related to the project scope
- Coordinate with all agency assigned 3rd party engineers for specialty design reviews
- Review and coordinate all contractor submittals related to the project
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements:
- 15+ years of experience managing construction projects required, including working knowledge and applicable experience in the Construction Management Field managing all phases of the construction processes
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent is required.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license and/or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certificate is strongly preferred.
- Experience with Project Management Softwares and Document management processes required.
- Superior organizational skills, including maintaining project files and logs
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, required
