Intern, Marketing (Korean/ Japanese)

Summary

This is an on-site internship opportunity located in Brea, CA for a Marketing Intern who is fluent in Korean and/or Japanese. The intern will have the opportunity to support marketing team members in projects related to email campaigns, social media, advertising, and content development. The role also offers exposure to project management and analytics.

Responsibilities:

• Participate and assist in ideation, planning to execution, and reporting of various business and marketing projects ( social media marketing, B2C customer acquisition, online community building, product selections, etc)
  
• Help in the development of marketing strategy materials including but not limited to campaign brainstorming, timelines, briefs, communication, coordination, marketing decks, presentations, analytical reports, etc
  
• Analyze customer needs based on customer behavior to understand different target audiences (Japanese and Korean) and profile key consumer groups to recommend product and marketing tactics
  
• Other related tasks as assigned
  

Qualification:

• BS / MS degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field and/or related fields.
  
• Bilingual: Proficient in English and Japanese Or English and Korean in a business environment
  
• Demonstrated enthusiasm and familiarity with trending Japanese/ Korean products ( Snack/ beauty/ household) and understanding of respective customers
  
• Familiarity with Social media
  
• Related internship experience as an advantage
  
• Inspired, self-initiated, fast learner and detail-oriented
  
• Available to work onsite (Monday-Friday; 20 to 40 hours a week) in Brea, CA
  
• Authorized to work in the US
  

Qualification (Preferred):

• Familiarity with Asian brands
  
• E-commerce or online retail experience
  
• Experience in working with development teams, project management, and agile marketing
