Muslim Clergy Services Provider
1. INTRODUCTION
Far Group is seeking a candidate to provide Muslim Clergy Services Provider to join our team
and provide spiritual guidance to inmates. The successful candidate will perform various
religious duties, including leading weekly and special Muslim services and visiting inmates
in the Special Housing Unit (SHU) for Muslim pastoral care.
2. Place of Performance:
• United States Disciplinary Barracks: 1301 N Warehouse Rd, Fort Leavenworth, KS
66027
• Midwest Joint Regional Correctional Facility: 34202-34398 159th St, Leavenworth,
KS 66048
3. Responsibilities:
• Lead weekly Muslim services, including delivering sermons and prayers, and leading
worship activities.
• Perform special Muslim services as required, such as those for religious holidays and
events.
• Visit inmates in the SHU for Muslim pastoral care, including counseling and spiritual
guidance.
• Participate in training and development activities as required to maintain competency and
currency in religious practices.
4. Qualifications:
• Proof of good standing with a recognized Muslim regulatory body.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with inmates,
staff, and other stakeholders in a professional and respectful manner.
• Ability to provide pastoral care to inmates in a correctional setting.
• Be a citizen of the United States of America.
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain security clearance and access to the nonclassified internet protocol router network (NIPRNET).
• Must successfully complete comprehensive background checks
• Willingness to undergo security training and orientation to the MCC facility and
correctional environment prior to meeting with inmates
