The ideal candidate will provide analytical and other administrative support to the procurement organization to meet the business goals of our client.

Job Description

• Identify areas of improvement within the broad Production Planning realm
• Manage small/medium change projects independently.
• Support the operational team with tools, reports etc.
• Define the scope and requirements towards IT, follow up and be the first line of testing.
• Be the liaison with the IT department for Production Planning projects.
• Be SME on our planning and scheduling tools

EDUCATION & ACCREDITATION:

• Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering, Engineering, Computer Science or 2+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Production Planning, or Continuous Improvement

KNOWLEDGE:

• Understanding of manufacturing product flow, data flow, manufacturing constraints, and objectives in the order life cycle.
• Experience in a continuous production environment is a plus, but experience in metals manufacturing even more.
• Comfortable in SQL querying. SQL Programming is a plus
• Proficient in Excel, including VBA skills.
• Some knowledge of (any) programming language is a bonus.
• PowerBI and/or BOBJ knowledge
• Experience with Optimizers is a bonus
