Position Type: Two Year Contract, Full-Time, Exempt

Location: Glenwood Springs, Colorado

Pay Range: Hiring/Starting pay range is $120,000 - $130,000/annually, based on experience.

Position Summary

***This position is hybrid (remote and onsite). Candidate must be willing and able to be onsite in Glenwood Springs, CO when needed. Colorado candidates only!

The Project Manager oversees the planning, execution, and delivery of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)/Human Capital Management System (HCM) implementation project, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. The Project Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, develop detailed plans, and manage resources effectively. The Project Manager is responsible for driving change management initiatives, monitoring project performance, and proactively addressing issues to keep the project on track.

Essential Job Duties

Project Planning and Execution:

  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Oversee the execution of the ERP/HCM implementation project from initiation to completion to include scope and budget management.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with technical implementation teams and business stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
  • Manage and allocate resources efficiently to ensure project tasks are completed on time and within scope.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the project team.

Change Management:

  • Drive change management initiatives to ensure seamless adoption of new processes and technologies.
  • Work with stakeholders to address concerns and promote a positive attitude toward change.

Performance Monitoring:

  • Monitor project performance against established metrics and key performance indicators.
  • Proactively identify and address issues that may impact the project timeline or quality.

Risk Management:

  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies, escalating issues to project sponsors when appropriate.
  • Take a proactive approach to risk management to prevent issues that could impact project success.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Proven experience managing complex technical projects, with a focus on planning, execution, and delivery.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • In-depth knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Human Capital Management Systems (HCM) concepts, functionalities, and implementation best practices.
  • Previous experience leading ERP/HCM implementation projects is highly desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate effective collaboration between technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Ability to convey technical information in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Proven ability to drive change management initiatives, fostering a positive attitude towards change within the organization.
  • Experience managing user adoption and training programs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address issues proactively and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and find creative solutions to overcome project challenges.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing project requirements and environments.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced setting.
  • Strong leadership skills to guide and motivate project teams towards successful project delivery.
  • Proficiency in project management software such as MS Plan, MS Office suite, and relevant tools.
  • Ability to inspire confidence and maintain a positive team spirit.

Education

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience; advanced degree or certification in project management (PMP or PRINCE2) is a plus.

Experience

Minimum of 7 years of experience in managing large-scale technical projects, preferably ERP/HCM implementations.
