Job Title: Production Control Clerk

Reports To: Production Control Manager

FLSA Status: Hourly (Nonexempt)

Department: Manufacturing

Division: Ascent Buildings Portland, TN

Job Summary: To coordinate production and delivery of information that supports efficient manufacturing practices based on production schedules.

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

1. Prepares a production schedule for the manufacturing activities of the company based on reliable information.

1. Reviews and updates work schedules to effectively maintain the manufacturing schedule in coordination with management.

1. Monitors priority manufacturing schedules to meet customer needs with minimal disruption to the overall production schedule.

1. Posts daily production information accurately on computer and generates related reports as required.

1. Communicates material requirements with inventory control.

1. Maintains pertinent production and delivery information in appropriate job files.

1. Expedites production orders to best meet customer needs.

1. Performs other related duties as assigned or required.

Education/Experience:

High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Prior experience or knowledge in steel buildings or manufacturing is a plus.
